Gregory Martyr

Executive Chairman

Mr Martyr has over 30 years’ experience in resources investment banking, corporate finance, and mining management. He was Managing Director and Global Head of Advisory, Mining & Metals at Standard Chartered Bank (2011–2016) and previously a partner at Gryphon Partners. Earlier roles include senior executive positions with Normandy Mining and posts at Deutsche Bank and Morgan Grenfell. He holds Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Law from the University of Sydney.

James Leahy

Non-Executive Director

With over 35 years in stockbroking and commodities, Mr Leahy has broad expertise in mining finance, equity markets, and corporate governance. He has advised on global resource projects and served as director of several listed companies, including Geiger Counter Ltd and European Green Transition PLC. His mineral sands experience includes roles with Mineral Commodities Ltd and Kenmare Resources PLC. Mr Leahy previously worked at James Capel, Credit Lyonnais, Nedbank, Canaccord, and Mirabaud.

Teh Kwan Wey

Non-Executive Director

Mr Teh is General Manager (Corporate) at Kuala Lumpur Kepong Berhad, overseeing corporate finance, acquisitions, and fund-raising. He previously worked at Lazard in London on M&A and equity capital transactions across multiple regions. He holds a Master of Engineering from Imperial College London.

Aravinda De Silva

Non-Executive Director

A former Sri Lankan cricket legend and 1996 World Cup champion, Mr De Silva is now a successful businessman and investor. Through his family office, he has led ventures across technology, finance, and manufacturing. He chairs Ideal Holdings, driving growth in logistics, transport, and the automotive sector, and has played a key role in expanding Millennium IT ESP’s presence locally and internationally.

Savanth Sebastian

Non-Executive Director

Mr Sebastian has over 20 years’ experience in financial services and is a Director of Ambeon Capital PLC, guiding its investment strategy, including its mineral sands interests. He chairs Colombo City Holdings PLC and sits on the board of Millennium IT. Previously, he was Senior Economist at Commonwealth Bank Global Markets and an Independent Director at Nations Trust Bank PLC. He represents Ambeon on Capital Metals’ Board.

Stuart Forrester

Chief Operating Officer

Stuart is an experienced mining engineer with deep mineral sands expertise. He previously played a pivotal role in the creation and leadership of Black Mountain Metals II, facilitating the deployment of US private equity funds into Australian resource companies. He has also served as Senior Director, Minerals Operations, for The Chemours Company, where he was responsible for all aspects of mineral sands operations, and as President at Southern Ionics Minerals.

Anthony Eastman

Chief Financial Officer

Anthony is a Chartered Accountant with extensive finance and advisory experience in natural resources, having been a director and company secretary of a number of listed junior mining and oil & gas focused companies. He is a member of the CAANZ and ICAEW and a partner at Orana Corporate, and has previously worked with Ernst & Young and CalEnergy Gas Ltd.

Iranga Dunuwille

Sri Lankan Country Manager

Iranga manages Capital Metals’ operations in Sri Lanka, overseeing finance and administration. A CIMA member with an MBA from the University of Greenwich, he has worked in finance roles across Sri Lanka and the UK. Iranga served as Head of Finance for a large manufacturer/exporter in Sri Lanka before becoming a Management Accountant for a high-end manufacturer. He also acts as the Consultant CFO to one of the largest inbound tour operators in Sri Lanka.

Richard Stockwell

Technical Manager

Richard is a geologist with over 20 years’ experience in mineral sands exploration and mine planning. He spent more than a decade with Iluka Resources before moving into consulting.

Harsha Udawatta

Operations Manager

Harsha has over 20 years’ experience in Sri Lankan corporate and government sectors and holds degrees in Naval Studies and Conflict & Peace Studies. He also serves as a Justice of Peace.

Niloosha Dodanwala

Human Resources Manager

Niloosha has two decades of multi-sector HR experience. She’s been with Capital Metals for over six years and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Bangalore and an MBA from the University of Wales.

Kishan Kumara

Financial Controller

Kishan brings strong financial management and government experience to his role of Financial Controller of Capital Metals’ Sri Lanka subsidiary. He is a chartered accountant in Sri Lanka and the UK (CIMA) and holds an MBA from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

Silojah Sivapathan

Environment Specialist

Silojah has over 8 years’ experience in delivering sustainability initiatives across major infrastructure and development projects in Sri Lanka. She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science & Engineering.

Sanjeewa Rajashilpa

Project Manager

Sanjeewa has over 20 years’ experience in engineering, project management, and industrial operations, and has successfully led multidisciplinary teams across a wide range of industries. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, specialising in Production Engineering (Mechanical), from the University of Peradeniya.

Tiron Senanayake

Senior Geologist

Tiron has over 10 years’ industry experience as a Geologist. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Gemmology and Industrial Minerals.
